Amrita Sanyal, BA,BS, Community Relations Director

Amrita Sanyal completed her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai, India. In 2003 and completed her Bachelor’s in Science degree with a concentration in Healthcare Administration from San Jose State University. She was on the Dean’s list and graduated with a “magna cum laude”.

She started her career in the healthcare field while working as an intern at the Aging Adult Services at Stanford Medical Center. She had the opportunity to work at Avenidas as well where she was able to assist members with the “Strong for life” program. This gave her the privilege of working with the aging adults. Amrita’s professionalism in dealing with clients and her excellent interpersonal and communication skills enabled her to work as a Community Relations Director at Care Indeed. She analyses the local markets and creates a successful marketing plan to increase clientele within the community. Her goal is to reach out to healthcare professionals, provide them with resources that can help their clients to lead an independent life in the comfort of their own homes. She places high priority in promoting the company through networking, outreach, and participation in community and facility events and activities. Her ability to connect to her clients and comprehend their needs and wants makes her very approachable and amicable.
Jennifer Chan, Case Coordinator

Jennifer graduated from University of California, San Diego in June 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a minor is Health Sciences. After graduation she spent time volunteering at UCSF and played a vital role in assisting the Patient Relations Department in completing their Whiteboard Project; a project that focused on efficiently improving the communication methods between the patients and the medical staff. In August of 2010, Jennifer became certified as a Nursing Assistant. While completing the remainder of her prerequisites for nursing school, she has been working as a Certified Nursing Assistant as well as a Case Coordinator for Nurse Instead. In the upcoming fall of 2011, she will be embarking on her first year of nursing school in pursuit of a Master’s of Science of Nursi ng Degree. Her future goals consist of becoming a Nurse Practitioner, possibly specializing in either Pediatrics or Women's Health.
